Struggling with despair for real. Working to protect a tiny group of people and animals I love as the world becomes an unlivable nightmare. My lawn is full of bees and clover flowers. My gardens are flourishing and my neighbors are kind. The planet is f***ed, the future is lost, but I'll probably be ok here for a while.

Installing an irrigation system for the garden, covered in dirt, wrestling with tubing under the midday sun... Doki Doki Literature Club theme song inexplicably stuck in my head.

I am gonna lose my mind tomorrow when the SCOTUS EPA ruling comes in. I should probably just not post anything but I will be so so angry. Alternately I will be in complete shock at a positive ruling, like my mind will be blown into a million tiny pieces. That's not happening tho.
