@White_Rabbit the goodwill of ppl being trained is a precious resource tho and this type of training by its very nature erodes that goodwill. Clever tricks like emulating anti-phishing training to simulate a theoretical phishing attack are not worthwhile for the vast majority of trainees.

@0x56

@White_Rabbit @0x56 has this type of phishing attack been observed in the wild? Cause if it's actually occurring, then it's appropriate to include in training.

If this is purely hypothetical then it sucks. Neither evil nor brilliant, just pointless and aggravating.

Can putting cats in a utopia where they're the center of the universe make them happier? Science has the answer.

@Minholkin
fr how did anyone - let alone a professional seeds distributor - think these were organic. It boggles the mind.

npr.org/sections/health-shots/

@Minholkin so between the heirloom seed company senselessly destroying all these seeds and the negative press coverage creating a huge amount of interest in the tomatoes... yeah I couldn't get any :(

I did get the petunias before they sold out tho, maybe because they only got positive press. Kinda funny how that worked out.

@Minholkin consumer gene-edited plants have finally launched and it's very cool.

But yeah someone stole a bunch of the tomato seeds and then passed them off as organic and an heirloom seed company bought them. They got duped to a pretty crazy degree like no due diligence at all. The inside of these tomatoes is BRIGHT purple. No natural tomato looks like that. Ppl figured it out immediately cause only one company in the world produces those tomatoes.

@Minholkin I'm happy I was even able to order them lol

I wanted to order the snapdragon tomatoes (the other notable science plant) but then there was a scandal involving an organic seeds company and they were all over the news. Now if I want those seeds I need to buy them from scalpers on etsy D:

@Minholkin oh hi Min!

Yes I will post pictures once they're planted.

Ordered 3 glow in the dark petunias. They're actual, living plants, but obv science created them. They've got some fungi genes.

Anyway, the important thing here is that I am going to have the coolest yard and that is how you win at suburbia.

I'm scared that all my plants will die again at the end of April. It just takes one really cold night for all my flowers to die :( that's what happened last year and it looks like it will again. I'm gonna cover my kiwis with tarps and put water cooler tops over the delicate flowers but idk if that'll be enough if it gets into the mid 20s.

@Graci NYTimes, parts of the BBC and The Guardian have a strong anti-trans bias as well. @Kaysymmetry
