Mogwai FINALLY used the dog door, on her own today. It took me shoving her outside, then ignoring her at the door for a bit while she barked, but she did it!! Huzzah!

I love sourdough bread. I wish I was the kind of person that can keep a sourdough starter alive...lol...I've tried, multiple times, and every time I fail.

Well, we did NOT hit 100* yesterday in my corner of the #PNW, we hit 96.3*. I guess the heat is supposed to peak today, then slowly taper off the rest of the week. Managed to keep the house about 20* cooler than outside, so I'd call that a win.

I want the coat that Jenna Ortega wears, in episode 1 of Wednesday. The black satin coat with embroidered flowers on it.....WANT IT!!! I'm sure it's some designer coat that costs $$$$$$, but damnit, I love it.

I've gotta get my Thanksgiving mindset into gear. We usually host, but haven't since 2019 due to the pandemic and various other reasons, but this year, it's back on! We usually have a house full. 30ish people. I know it's months away, but it sneaks up on ya quick!

We now have a dog door! Tormund has already figured it out. Mogwai....well....we don't call her "Queen Derp" for nothing! lol Aslan (cat) has attempted, but I put some stronger magnets on it and, so far, he hasn't been able to push it open. Not sure that will last.

On top of everything else going on...Mogwai (dog) has hurt herself somehow. She's not really using one of her back legs and is acting very stressed. Literally nothing happened...She ate dinner and then this. She was fine all day. She's old (11ish) so it could be anything. I've touched it a bit, squeezed a bit, no real reaction. She has her stressed face on though, so that makes me think she's in pain.... :(

And just like that, the oldest birdie has flown the coop.
Kiddo is all moved out and into his new apartment.
