Day 7 of husband's COVID. Still testing positive, but his symptoms are just about gone and he feels 100% better. Still going to wear a mask around the house, and I'm still couch surfin, but he's able to amongst the rest of us now. Maybe we'll get some work done on the house, in between moving the kiddo out....

Today is moving day for the oldest spawn.
I've been looking at adopting another puppy.
The two are not related, TOTAL coincidence (she tells herself, unconvincingly lol). 😭

The "Him" is The Husband. I left out a word or two there....My brain, is just NOT firing on all cylinders today. Definitely a bit burnt out!

I suggested we turn the soon to be empty bedroom, into a "Man Cave" for him, so I could have the big bonus room to myself..

He laughed and said it sounded like I was getting the better part of the deal. lol πŸ˜†

Day 5 of husband's COVID done. He's still testing positive, still has mild symptoms, still isolating.

Looks like we're going to lose another weekends worth of work on the house. πŸ˜• Bummer. I'm hoping he'll feel well enough to at least install the dog door. Not expecting, but hoping.

Kiddo gets the keys to his apartment on Friday. I know it's excitement, but holy Hell, that's all he's talked about for weeks now. Thankful it's almost over! lol

My brother got another dog. My brother, that's gotten many dogs, but has never KEPT any dogs.....got another dog. My Dad ended up taking his last one, when he couldn't care for her anymore. πŸ˜• *sigh*
Thank the Lord he lives far, far away from me now. Not my circus, not my monkeys.

It's actually raining! Like, real measurable rainfall! I know it's not going to last, but damnit it wonderful.

The lamps I ordered, that were backorder until September, will be here Friday! Huzzah!

Going into day 4 of husband's COVID.
.
He better get a negative test soon, and GTFO of my house, cause I'm over this shit. πŸ˜‚
I understand his grumpy mood, but he doesn't seem to understand that *I* cannot get sick. I tried to explain to him, that if *I* were to get sick, he wouldn't take time off to be home to do everything I do. *I'D* still have to do it. He'd take great care of me, on Saturday/Sunday. Then it'd be back to work on Monday, and I'd have to fend for myself.

The Hubbs (The Infected One) is getting stir crazy, being stuck in the bedroom for 3 days and is starting to act like a disgruntled ass. I get it, I understand, but like, come on man. Don't be like that. Here's to hoping he gets a negative test tomorrow.

The animals are fed and watered, the Infected One is fed and watered, the garden is fed and watered. I think some Final Fantasy 14 is in order, with a side of Hellier.

Also, this humidity needs to fuck off.

Man, I'd kill for a thunderstorm. We don't get them much in my neck of the woods. If we do, it's like, one heavy rain cell that moves over in 5 mins. BOR-ING!

I am thinking I am going to need a root canal on this tooth. I am having a lot of anxiety about it. Trying to give it more time to "settle" and heal before I totally freak out...lol 😜

I survived! We only did one "loop", but speeds were 50mph cause we're country bumpkins and are surrounded by "country back roads". She did well. I was a nervous wreck and it just cemented why my husband usually does the drive training. lol

Going to take my 16 year old daughter out driving today. She has her first drivers ed drive tomorrow. Husband usually does this, cause he is a much calmer person than I, but since he has The Plague, it lands on me.

If ya'll don't hear from me again, you'll know why...lol

Slept on the couch last night, to avoid The Infected, and wow! I woke up, NOT in pain! Usually my back hurts, my neck hurts....Not today! :D This....could be bad for my marriage....lmao

I am so happy it's a cooler day today. Not even 70Β° at 2:30pm! Going to make some minestrone soup from scratch for the 'rona positive hubbs. Sad to lose a whole weekends worth of work on the house, but also kinda happy to just....chill.
