The NWS in Seattle has issued a blizzard warning for the Cascades and the Olympics. It's been over 11 years since they last issued one! I'd never seen that color on their little map before! Lol

If the models are correct, we are in for some crazy weather here in the .

We got high winds coming Mon-Tues, then after Wednesday temps plummet! Possibility of single digits in some areas!

Getting prepped today. Making sure we have plenty of pellets for the stove, propane for the generator, and batteries in the flashlights and that all my laundry is done!

We're going out to eat tonight, with my in-laws. I don't wanna. lol I adore my in-laws and was bummed we had to miss Christmas festivities with them, but since covid started, I've been very uncomfortable dining out. Then I GOT covid and now I don't wanna go anywhere! lol Hnnnngggg. Suck it up, buttercup. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.

Squeeeee!!!!! I know it could change, and probably will, but just seeing the chance in the forecast makes me giddy!!

I bought myself a Stanley water bottle, after I saw the video of the lady who's car caught fire, but her Stanley still had ice in it.

I put ice in mine before bed last night, and this sucker still has ice in it this morning! This pleases me greatly! Water without ice isn't worth drinking! MOAR ICE! lol

I wish I could replace the vanity, but it's an odd size, so I cannot just go buy a premade one from like, Lowes. Well, I COULD, but then I'd need to do drywall repair and shit, and no thanks, hard pass. Same for keeping the cabinets, but replacing the granite. It's an odd size, so I can't just get a "cheap" mass produced piece from a store. Blargh!

I am re-doing the main bathroom downstairs, and I want it to be a dark, moody feel.

I have a framed sign in there, that is of a Plague Doctor and it says "It puts the soap on it's hands or it spreads the disease again", so that is kind of what I am basing the whole bathroom theme on.

I am bound and determined to do one wall with wallpaper. I just can't pick one!!! lol

I did it! The house is de-Christmasfied!

Well, I still need to take the lights off the tree and have Hubbs toss that sucker into the swamp, but other than THAT, the house is de-Christmasfied! lol

I need to get the Christmas decorations taken down and put away, but I am so tired. So, so tired. Guess they will still be there after a nap.....

I fixed the washing machine!!! \o/

Electronic everything will be the death of us as a society. I swear.

Thank you for tagging along on this washing machine saga with me! lol

He tried to fix the washing machine and broke it worse than it was. *sigh* I just can't fucking win.

I picked "unclogging the washer" as the thing I wanted/needed the hubbs to do today......(after he specifically asked what he could do/help me with today)

He's currently digging random boxes out of the garage to take to storage cause "They've been in there for years."😐😐😐

Whatever, I guess. When the laundry room floods and he's replacing the tile and drywall, I will remind him that he thought moving boxes to storage was more important. πŸ™„

Hubbs comes downstairs: "What can I help you with today?" Me: "You don't want me to answer that question honestly." Him:"Yes I do." Me:"Okay then; the washing machine needs to be unclogged, the kitchen sink lines need to be blown out, the hot water tank needs draining, the table in the car needs to go into storage......" Him: 😐 Me: 😐 Like I said...you didn't want an honest answer to that....lol

The kiddos go back to school on Wednesday. Hubbs doesn't go back to work until the 8th.

I am not quite ready. I feel like I got cheated out of most of the break, being sick and in bed for 10 days.

We have a long slog until Spring break in April. My middle child turns 18 in March, then graduates in June.....It doesn't really feel real. We didn't think he was gonna make it, when he was born(1 month early, 12 days in NICU)...and now he's turning 18 and graduating high school! *sigh*

My eldest son had bought himself a VR Headset, used it twice and decided it wasn't for him, so he gave it to his brother! Kiddo wanted one for Christmas and I just couldn't swing it (it's $1,000), so he's pretty stoked right now. Lol

This post fatigue is real, man. I'm up around 6am, and by 11am I'm extremely tired and need to lay down. My taste buds still aren't back to normal. I can taste...but it's just a little off. Add in the tummy troubles and food just isn't as enjoyable as it was. Hope it passes. I really like food. lol

Happy New Year, fellow COSO peeps! Fingers crossed that 2024 is better than 2023, but I ain't holdin' my breath!

I finally get to see my eldest and his GF for Christmas!

I got their stockings all ready and wrapped the bottles of wine and vodka I got for them. The rest (stuff from Costco...toothpaste, TP, Jelly Bellys, dish soap...ect) isn't getting wrapped...

I'M FREEEEE!!!

Negative covid test this morning!!! Huzzah!!!

I wish there were more "chill" ghost hunter/paranormal shows on TV.

"Ghost Hunters" and "Kindred Spirits" is what I like. Anything that douche Zak Baggins is involved in is absolute garbage.

I hate the constant running around, screaming, "ITS A DEMON!!! EVERYTHING IS HAUNTED AND THEYRE ALL DEMOMS!!" πŸ™„

Trying to give "28 Days Haunted" a go, but I'm only 10 mins in and already think it falls into the "Zak Baggins" type of territory. πŸ™„ Blargh.
