We're going out to eat tonight, with my in-laws. I don't wanna. lol I adore my in-laws and was bummed we had to miss Christmas festivities with them, but since covid started, I've been very uncomfortable dining out. Then I GOT covid and now I don't wanna go anywhere! lol Hnnnngggg. Suck it up, buttercup. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.
@Evereigh I was rather slow to go back to eating out.
What helps me is I carry around Clorox wipes. I have them in my truck, the husband's truck. I pull one out and carry it into the restaurant with me. If I open the doors, I use the wipe to grip the door handle or push the bar. When arriving back home, first thing I do is thoroughly wash my hands.
Husband gave me shit about it. I told him get used to it.
@Evereigh I also take them (Clorox wipes) in the grocery store and wipe the cart handle and along the top edge of the basket where I typically touch it. Between picking up stuff, I wipe my hands and try to remember not to touch my face, until after I get home.
If I HAVE to blow my nose or whatever, I dig out more wipes and scrub my hands.
@Evereigh I disagree. I bailed on a work dinner because there's no way I'm taking off my mask inside anywhere.
@Evereigh even the regular cold germs are sucky. Daughter & I are still hacking up chunks from the lungs. π·
@AverageCitizen Yuuup. I'm still coughing up goop and it's been 7 days since I got my negative covid test! I don't want to get sick again. With anything. Period. lol
@Evereigh
I disagree about the needs of the many. If they can't get over it, they don't have any regard for your well being.
