@AverageCitizen Thanks! I just hope that what I have in my head, translates well to reality. lol
I wish I could replace the vanity, but it's an odd size, so I cannot just go buy a premade one from like, Lowes. Well, I COULD, but then I'd need to do drywall repair and shit, and no thanks, hard pass. Same for keeping the cabinets, but replacing the granite. It's an odd size, so I can't just get a "cheap" mass produced piece from a store. Blargh!
I am re-doing the main bathroom downstairs, and I want it to be a dark, moody feel.
I have a framed sign in there, that is of a Plague Doctor and it says "It puts the soap on it's hands or it spreads the disease again", so that is kind of what I am basing the whole bathroom theme on.
I am bound and determined to do one wall with wallpaper. I just can't pick one!!! lol #diy #renovation
@thewebrecluse We're never getting that next (last?) book......smh π£ lol
@Render Lady Mogwai Taco Salad of Safeway. lmao
@Cosmichomicide lmao!! That IS an idea! He did end up fixing it. Or, attempting to. We aren't 100% sure why it was leaking, could be the clogged screens/filters, which we pulled and cleaned. But if that doesn't fix it, then we have no idea! There was no obvious signs of something broken. Stupid appliances!!
I picked "unclogging the washer" as the thing I wanted/needed the hubbs to do today......(after he specifically asked what he could do/help me with today)
He's currently digging random boxes out of the garage to take to storage cause "They've been in there for years."πππ
Whatever, I guess. When the laundry room floods and he's replacing the tile and drywall, I will remind him that he thought moving boxes to storage was more important. π
Hubbs comes downstairs: "What can I help you with today?" Me: "You don't want me to answer that question honestly." Him:"Yes I do." Me:"Okay then; the washing machine needs to be unclogged, the kitchen sink lines need to be blown out, the hot water tank needs draining, the table in the car needs to go into storage......" Him: π Me: π Like I said...you didn't want an honest answer to that....lol
@TrueBloodNet Oh, I'd LOVE it if it would stick! 10000%!! But, I've lived here my entire 41 years....I know we're lucky if we even see ONE FLAKE FALL. Lol So, I try to not ask for too much! Hahah
@TrueBloodNet I'd be happy to just watch it fall! Doesn't have to stick, I just want to see it fall and pretend I live in a snow globe. Lol
@TomeReader I need to do this too, trying to find the motivation. It's playing a great game of hide n seek! lol
The kiddos go back to school on Wednesday. Hubbs doesn't go back to work until the 8th.
I am not quite ready. I feel like I got cheated out of most of the break, being sick and in bed for 10 days.
We have a long slog until Spring break in April. My middle child turns 18 in March, then graduates in June.....It doesn't really feel real. We didn't think he was gonna make it, when he was born(1 month early, 12 days in NICU)...and now he's turning 18 and graduating high school! *sigh*
@GrandmaJ Beautiful!!!
This post #covid fatigue is real, man. I'm up around 6am, and by 11am I'm extremely tired and need to lay down. My taste buds still aren't back to normal. I can taste...but it's just a little off. Add in the tummy troubles and food just isn't as enjoyable as it was. Hope it passes. I really like food. lol
Happy New Year, fellow COSO peeps! Fingers crossed that 2024 is better than 2023, but I ain't holdin' my breath!
