Then one evening the witty repartee amongst the youngsters involves questionable jokes.
One has to explain βSon,youβre a straight white boy you canβt tell jokes like that youβll get your ass kicked.β To wit one of the rainbow mafia kids says βNo, but I can! πβ βππ€¨β β No, really, if you are part of the group itβs okβ¦β π€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈ This was NOT in the pamphlet!!
π€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈπ€·πΌββοΈπππ
These damn kids are going to kill me.
I say this with no hyperbole. As a person who spends almost no time on Twitter, it is JARRING reading on Monday what Musk did the previous weekend. He is a fucking Sociopath. He has monetized being in a hate group. Twitter is like the in-group message board of the hate group. They log in to get their orders for their next target and they act accordingly.
Companies still advertise on Twitter and we still buy from them. We have to stop funding the hate group with our patronage.
@DizziChick25 Elon Musk is a free speech absolutist. As in all *his* speech must be absolutely free, everyone elses he doesnt agree with? Not so much judging by the partisan and spiteful bannings seemingly going on.
Last week, the powers that be decided I was "too radical" to be on the bird app. My crime? suggesting people who harass doctors who treat trans children (it is not what they screed about and nobody should be harassed that way) should be rolled in a rug & beaten like a piΓ±ata. This week I am watching EM self fellating & calling for terrorism against another DR for doing his damn job. I hate this time line.
Whoa.

Clearly we do need some stronger immigration laws. Weβve really let some undesirable people into the country. We need to have a hard look at anyone whoβs extremely rich carefully. We should have never let Musk and Murdoch become citizens. #politics
Itβs a hard knock life for a dog. I came out of the shower to find this mook in the middle of my now unmade bed. He nests w/ blankets. Heβs happiest when he can throw the blankets (he has two in his dog bed in the great room and steals blankets every chance he gets) about and nest. My bed is one of his favorite nesting zones. Heβs lucky heβs cute.
You don't have to just shrug at people who are different from you: you can be very glad that you live in a colorful, non-monotone world, full of different ways of being and relating to that world, and that you have the opportunity to enrich yourselves by participating in the lives of those people and learning from them, as well as their learning from you.
This has been bothering me since last night, so I want to talk about my issue with unsolicited prayers and the problem I have with, "Just be polite and say thank you- their intentions are good."
I am an atheist. I'm not simply Not Religious. But I spent my entire childhood in the Catholic Church.
Good - "Would you like me to pray for you?" "No, thank you." Interaction complete.
Bad - "I'll pray for you." You have now manipulated me into a position where I can either be "rude" according to - 1/
Morning thought:
Some people think of tolerating other people who are different from themselves as a concessionβsomething they really shouldn't have to do, but that they agree to for the sake of general peace, or out of weakness and fear that they might be discriminated against themselves.
How different is this flabby toleration from an enthusiastic embrace and affirmation of differences, based on an understanding of the strength, vigor, and intelligence of diversity!
Too tired to be witty- Armchair philosopher and Bitch with opinions to spare.
