Now when we find out something we dont like about ourselves but its true- we have the opportunity to change here in a democratic country.

We effect that change through voting without violence or intimidation.

In turn, we change our outward take towards others- understanding- learning cultures.

Monarchies dont have this outlet

Theocratic or autocratic states dont have this outlet

Those in power just kill the opposition.

So it simmers and then one day-BOOM.

There is not yet any proof Hamas didn't do it nor proof IDF did. So any finger pointing is foolish. Know your sources before making assumptions. A big part of warfare is propaganda. Hamas would have no regrets using Palestinians as human shields.

A forensic investigation could fact find, but that's not going to happen in an active war zone.

Whomever did it, it's a war crime.

I still have friends in Iran, Syria, Iraq, etc. The people always causing the problems are those in power and the extremist elements, not the every day people just trying to live life.

I think we are at a point where even if the IDF produces evidence that it is a PIJ rocket, people who are so convinced Israel is nothing but a genocidal state will still spread the narrative that Israel attacked the hospital.

As a result, I imagine the protests/riots in other Middle Eastern countries are only beginning.

USN re-confirming that all three ships carrying the 26th USMC Marine Expeditionary Unit are headed for the Israeli coast.

Two, USS Bataan and USS Carter Hall are leaving from the Persian Gulf/Gulf of Oman and the third, USS Mesa Verde is leaving from an undisclosed location.

As mentioned previously when this was first announced it's a minimum two week trip.

That's around 2000 US Marines, about half a dozen F-35B's. All with a strong hatred of HizbAllah and Iran.
