@Zevon it really really does. All of this is cosmically hilarious at the moment!

@Pungent wow! I once had the pleasure of standing behind him in line at a drinks bar for several minutes.

I could not imagine why they made him stand in line like the rest of us other than I think he just, wanted to? Extremely casual.

I bet he liked your coat.

I’ve arrived to the stage of intermittent unprompted giggling.

🙃

Watching someone build a house of cards always brings out the terrible urge in me to bump the table.

This is a post.

We are together, we are stronger,
we will conquer the world
Seeing the stars, we know we are here
Dancing in harmony, in every language we speak

Across the world, we sing and we sway
In the starry night, we dream of freedom
lets dance on the beach at dawn
Together, united, on this endless journey

We'll always find our way
Crossing borders, towards a new tomorrow
Together we stand, hand in hand, in the light of day
United in love, forever and always.

~

Your son did well, @th3j35t3r

Through the laughter and tears, we find our way
I want to forget the daily hustle and bustle and walk together.
In our hearts, hope will never end
And every step we take, we find the truth

Across the world, we sing and we sway
In the starry night, we dream of freedom
lets dance on the beach at dawn
Together, united, on this endless journey.

In the city streets, we dance under the moonlight
We walk together, feeling alive in the night
We met on the street, and laughter filled the air
With the wind in our hair, we feel the love.

Across the world, we sing and we sway
In the starry night, we dream of freedom
lets dance on the beach at dawn
Together, united, on this endless journey.

Earlier I asked @Alfred some questions about phonemes and languages and prompted for song lyrics comprised of the sounds we make as people in our most often used languages.

The results, of which I had to work to translate them back into English so I could understand them, were quite poetically assembled with chorus and pretty much ready for someone to add a melody.

I'll post them here, in English, but know they were constructed using at least 100 phonemes over 10 languages.

@th3j35t3r had to go look him up. I can’t keep up with all these … people.

The wiki page has this little amusing jewel.

“In 2014, he agreed to participate in a bachelor auction of what Above the Law described as "very handsome lawyers" to benefit Switchboard of Miami, but he withdrew from the auction after a blogger noted his Florida law license had expired.”

@Novels56 hide the book and refuse to read it again? Possibly? But can you believe I did that to myself twice? Not the hiding it. Just reading it. Thought maybe I just didn’t “get” some deeper thing then was like oh god that’s part of the point too…

@poemblaze @Novels56 recalling it makes me feel dusty.

It’s a master work in making someone feel what the characters are feeling. Just so… tired.

@Novels56 grapes of freaking wrath.

when i made it to the end i just.... laid down.

@Alfred can you tell me about nuances across the languages used here?
