Woke up thinking it was Wednesday.
Watch out for those sneaky Tuesdays.

@Jeber 😄😄 If not for my diabetes sensor beeping if I get out of range, I'd be looking for my glasses so that I could find my phone.

Did anyone else not get through their forty fourth orbit without asking, 'where'd I put my glasses?', like it's an involuntary tic?

My other half sent me a BlueSky invite. First follow other than her: a grifter crypto bro...

I have found a few accounts I once followed elsewhere (sci-fi writers, artists, writers, scientists, special interest) but also a few 'placeholder' accounts - Brian Cox has thousands of followers, zero posts.

Can't pin posts, can't filter words; I've become too accustomed to curating my public space that way.

It's got nothing 'killer' - nothing better to offer than here and fedi.

@Krysdammit Aye, me too. 😄 Unavoidable in the firehouse, though. Doesn't happen too often to be fair, but I have such a psychotic hatred of certain evil figures and their repugnant hellspawn that even things shared in mocking gives me an eye twitch.

@Heavymetalmotherindisguise I'd be too tempted to click just to see it, without knowing what's on the other side. Might be cute; make my day. 😄

I think the main issue is people not always hashtagging, or not knowing what to hashtag as (politics, names). No obligation for them to of course - wouldn't expect it of anyone.

Some of us left the doomscrolling of other platforms and utilise filter so not to re-visit the toxic stuff.

Has to be said, here is far, far better than elsewhere. 🤘

Filtering words so not to see posts about the things I don't want to see post about, curate the public space if you like, is great, but the technology isn't quite there to filter screegrabs of tweets including filtered words, and faces of evil and evil's spawn that make we want to barf. Can't block 100% of the noise, I get that. Just having a moan. 😅

It's been an 80's and 90's anthology science fiction series kind of Sunday.

The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits need a re-release, or availability on a streaming platform in the UK. The Outer Limits DVD's I imported from Canada are particularly bad, noisy, compressed transfers; even for 480p.

Triumphant return for Davies, Tennant, and Tate. Like Fleetwood Mac reuniting after 15 years and banging out another 'Rumours'.

Okay... maybe a bit overexcited. 😅

While I could happily feast on a full season, mustn't be too greedy; I've every confidence Gatwa will be brilliant.

Finally watched John Wick 4. Loved the first, barely remember the second, the third was silly fun, but enough is enough.

I'll have to stop moaning about the local council putting the tree up just after bonfire night now. 😂

I've become 'one of those' 😅 It's still November and for Sunday meal at the Woodman in Swansea I had a festive burger with chilli cranberry sauce, pigs in blankets, and a Christmas pudding with brandy sauce for afters. 🍔🎄🤘

@TR_forester6291 Well aware of Stewart's career. The last FIA Daytona endurance race, and Indy race I watched at Indy weren't circles; Indy was good F1 event, I miss it. I don't see how US tracks that are still in use are safety concerns for F1 but who on earth would want to race at Nurburgring - they still hold events there. To suggest F1 races there would be crazy. I forgot Pocono was an oval, my bad. There's Indycar for single seater ovals and I doubt F1 could handle racing on ovals.

Like Europe, America has some great pure racetracks: Watkins Glen, Road America, Laguna Seca, Long Beach, Pocono, Sebring, Indianapolis, Daytona, to name a few off the top of my head; it's like F1 is either too snobby, showy, or the FIA's requirements or demands are too high to race on proper racetracks anymore. I hate these new tracks designed 'for the show'.
