I'm not aware of who at the Department of Energy is a specialist in viral genetics, and, therefore, might have a valid opinion about the origin of the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

Also, the Department of Energy has not made any public statement with regard to the origin of SARS-CoV-2, so I have no way of knowing whether any report prepared within the department actually has the endorsement *of* the department.

I have been called names and treated with contempt. I have been (mildly) harassed by police. I've been misgendered by medical professionals even after correction. I have been followed around stores. Mothers have pulled their children away in fear previously reserved for Frankenstein's monster. Living in the South, I feel it's inevitable that a physical attack will someday occur. This is my experience and it PALES in comparison to many others who have it worse.
