Fifth night has us in Thunder Bay. A long day of driving on a road that almost seems all uphill. We're camped almost directly below the Terry Fox Memorial. Granddaughter was impressed because her school participates every year in the Terry Fox Run. Got back to the campsite in time for a rain shower in the sun and a beautiful rainbow.

We're on our second night out on our big vacation this summer. Last night was in Barrie and tonight and tomorrow we'll be in Sudbury. We're hoping to see the big Nickel and maybe go down a mine tomorrow. K

Our Elliot crossed over the Rinbow Bridge yesterday. He leaves a hole in our lives that will take a long time to heal. I miss him a lot today.

It's been a couple of months since any activity has been seen on the Towers of the Gordie Howe Bridge. But now it seems they're now starting the deck. Should be interesting to watch moving on.

We're moving the last bits of kit into our new trailer and should be on the road in the next half hour. I'm so looking forward to this. This May 24 weekend is the shakeout cruise for our 6 week trip to Western Canada to visit friends and family
