Personal reflection:
CoSo has made me realize how fucked up social media is - and how much the force-fed content contributed to, as well as exacerbated, my mental health struggles.

I ditched FB 6-ish years ago, Insta 2 year ago, Twatter 2 months ago. I've realized I was in survival mode for the better part of the last decade. I became accustomed to assuming everyone that I come in contact with had an ulterior motive both IRL and online. It affected all of my personal interactions. . .

A friend of mine died today, at 101 years old! When we greeted each other, I'd say "How are you today, Wally?" He would respond, "Poorly, Kurt, poorly." It was our joke; I learned some years ago he had the same joke with everyone. :) He and his late wife were legendary in our town, and I'm glad to think of them together somewhere prettier and kinder than this place.
