@DavidSalo they were right. Someone at “Journalism” school finally heard what P.T. Barnum had to say about people. If people would stop playing into this, that’d be great, but alas.

The problem I see with the media is not *bias* (at least, not political bias; there is probably a bias toward people willing to expensively wine and dine them) but rather incompetence and unwillingness to scrutinize themselves–or, indeed, other reporters.

When they make basic reporting mistakes, like relying on a single source, taking a source's words at face value, not double-checking, not looking for alternative points of view, lumping people into groups and ascribing one thought to each...+

Since Popeyes introduced the Blackened Chicken there is absolutely no excuse to still want or buy Chick-fil-A. They messed up my order though and gave me spicy today but I'm handling it and it's still delicious. Unfortunately, I have to pass on most spicy versions now due to my battered digestive system and new intolerances since removing my gall bladder. #noh8 #eatmorchikin

Okay so I think I’ve processed what I can of the contentious event I missed which resulted in the loss of people from the community.

& btw in one year I’ve only seen & reported discriminatory dog whistle conversations 2 times on the platform. On the other sm sites that would have happened in what, 5 minutes?

And the only idea I had would be to add (if possible) a discrimination option to the report button stating what the protected classes are so I don’t have to write it out?

The weakest Speaker in the history of the HoR has given his stamp of approval to an "impeachment inquiry" which is not even founded upon a *suspicion* of anything wrong; that is, it's just a fishing expedition.
