I took the kids to the fancy mall for fun today, and there was a Gucci store with a satin rope and 2 bouncers at the entrance.

Anyway, I spent just over an hour tonight watching my (indoor) cats watching an (outdoor) baby possum wandering around my patio. It was highly entertaining and delightfully distracting from today's drama fest.

Just watched videos of Miami on the bird site posted by @witchestruthpost and I swear you are one of the bravest human beings I've never met.
Took my kids downtown for lunch then went shopping.
I found a new worry stone. I was attracted to it right away and now feel very attached to it.
I've had a mostly unproductive day, so I decided to (re)watch History of the World Part 1 by the amazingly hilarious Mel Brooks, because why not?
Last time I watched this film was probably 20 years or so ago

Also, Gen Z (which is what I assume is the generation they're trying to refer to) are an amazing generation who understands the issues in the modern world with an impressive amount of depth and insight. Kudos to them for not putting up with the bullshit.
I know Gen X is also known as "The Slacker Generation" but we're all in our late 40s and 50s now, so I don't think we really qualify as up and coming youngsters. Also, most of us work our asses off just to make ends meet. I personally have been pulling 12-14 hour days on a salary working in health care which means I don't get any overtime for my troubles.
So. You know. Whatever Boomer.
