A strong Democratic organization would start a recall election effort for Gaetz’s seat. Just sayin’.

@CanisPundit not necessary, he already resigned from Congress and a special election to fill the seat has been called.
the real worry now is that he's going to tap Ken Paxton instead, who will look much more "normal" and "credible" by comparison and thus easily swept into office.
@CanisPundit This is a head scratcher. He resigned effective immediately, but was re-elected in a not-yet certified election. Being unwilling to serve the term he was elected to might allow the state republican party to elect a replacement and skirt a state wide special election. Not sure what Florida requires in this case, or if that process is even fleshed out yet.
