A strong Democratic organization would start a recall election effort for Gaetzβs seat. Just sayinβ.
@CanisPundit This is a head scratcher. He resigned effective immediately, but was re-elected in a not-yet certified election. Being unwilling to serve the term he was elected to might allow the state republican party to elect a replacement and skirt a state wide special election. Not sure what Florida requires in this case, or if that process is even fleshed out yet.
