I’m finally asking this most hard hitting of questions: which do you prefer?

@tyghebright I haven't watched either of them yet, but as soon as I saw that there was a movie with a teenaged girl destroying MAGA-Stifler, I knew I would have to see it.

For tomorrow's Saturday , 7/22/23, we'll be streaming a double-dose of Becky, the teenager who cuts through Neo-Nazis like a knife through warm butter.

First, at 8:00 PM US Central, is BECKY (2020). Then, around 9:45 we will watch the sequel, THE WRATH OF BECKY (2023).

As always, let me know if you'd like to watch along!

Tomorrow's Saturday , 7/15/23, is a requested tribute in memoriam to Julian Sands, as we revisit his turn as Satan's son, the unnamed Warlock.

We'll begin at 8:00 PM US Central with WARLOCK (1989), followed by WARLOCK: THE ARMAGEDDON (1993) at around 10:00 PM US Central.

Let me know if you'd like to watch along!

@h2oaddicted Btw, you seem like you're a pretty serious homesteader... for those of us who might be curious about but don't know much about it, what books/websites or other resources would you recommend? 🤔

@jaunty I hope so--it's been too long, Jaunty! Hope you've been well.

Tomorrow's Saturday , 7/08/23, is a request fulfillment week for @Jezibaba with two of George A. Romero's Living Dead trilogy!

Starting at 8:00 PM US Central, we're watching the Dario Argento-edited "European cut" of DAWN OF THE DEAD (1978). Then around 10:00 PM US Central, we'll follow up with DAY OF THE DEAD (1985).

Let me know if you'd like to watch along.🤘

@ChillySnowgirl yeah, he was on stilts! I tried to get his attention but he took off… 🤷‍♂️

@karashta Better view from above ground, most definitely.

Tonight, for Saturday , 7/01/23, we're celebrating US Independence Day in style, with two very different films that occur on/around July 4th.

First, at 8:00 PM US Central, we'll be watching Brian De Palma's masterpiece of suspense, BLOW OUT (1981). Following around 10:00 PM US Central, we'll then watch the William Lustig/Larry Cohen trashterpiece UNCLE SAM (1996).

Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride.
