Eat at a local restaurant tonight. Get the cream sauce. Have a cold pint at 4 o’clock in a mostly empty bar. Go somewhere you’ve never been. Listen to someone you think may have nothing in common with you. Order the steak rare. Eat an oyster. Have a negroni. Have two. Be open to a world where you may not understand or agree with the person next to you, but have a drink with them anyways. Eat slowly. Tip your server. Check in on your friends. Check in on yourself. Enjoy the ride.

Day's going great. Planted a Second Korean lilac and a Harcourt apple tree. My Columbine came up. I'm ecstatic about that. Found the towers. 😂

@j0n But of course. They don't like the sun so we battle rage in the shade. Now that the first wave is dealt with my reaction is lessened. It's always the first bites that hurt the worst. Acclimation?
@Jezibaba I suppose… it’s one of the things I don’t like about the Summer! My daughter tells me they’ve much worse in AZ! I hadn’t really noticed as I don’t spend much time there in the Summer, much prefer early Spring 🩵🌵
@j0n We Alaskans enjoy being outside unmolested in the spring. We have a short window before hell breaks loose. I've been in AZ a few times. Never ran into them while there. I wonder why? Now I have to think about time of year. The worst ones were in Baltimore, believe it or not. Tiger species? Mean. Awful. Worse than up here.

@Jezibaba done, done and done......I miss this man so much. I absolutely adored him. Every inch of him. I would have stuck to him like glue. Good, bad and ugly. He was exactly who I always imagined I would live old with. Crazy.......I cant watch him or hear him without crying....its weird.
