Bill Murray blurbed the film; his comment appears on the video cover: “If you see one movie this year, it should be Frankenhooker.”

Last night I watched PYEWACKET (2017) dir. Adam MacDonald. I thought it was a decent slow-burn. Maybe a bit underwhelming, but a tight film that came to an effective climax. Nicole Muñoz, the young actress in the lead role, did a good job with what she was given here. Nothing that will likely blow your mind, but this was an economical and fairly interesting supernatural thriller, for those who may be so inclined.
In a little over 4 and 1/2 hours I’ll be kicking off our Thanksgiving edition of #Scarefest with a movie about a serial killer who dresses up in a turkey costume so he can murder and drink the blood of drug addicts, btw. Let me know if you want to watch along. 😉
