The only of our four options that is *not* Japanese--Park hails from South Korea--this triptych explores revenge across three different shocking and bloody tales. Starring such icons as Choi Min-sik and Song Kang-ho, these are three of the finest revenge movies ever made.

For the next Saturday #Scarefest we're going east--Far East!--for two movies about schoolgirl trips in Japan gone very wrong, and very weird!

And a reminder that following our first feature, (around 90 minutes from now) by special request, we will run directly into TALES FROM THE CRYPT PRESENTS: BORDELLO OF BLOOD (1996) dir. Gilbert Adler. This was the follow-up that bafflingly starred Dennis Miller and Angie Everhart as a wise-cracking private detective and a bathycolpian blood-sucker, respectively. Babes, boobs and blood abound!
