I've been listening to the album "The Bound and the Infinite" by Thirteen Senses, which will be featured on The Album Show tomorrow on Radio Free California (the streaming radio station) and suddenly realized that the album is designed to be played in a loop!

The album ends on the same chord that it starts on, so that you could cue the first track to start exactly at the end of the last track and it would be seamless. You wouldn't even notice the transition.

Very cool.

I only saw him once, playing drums(!) and keyboards behind Crosby Stills & Nash. He could do anything. A real loss.

I'm sure that everyone is aware of "The Nigerian Scam", where you're promised oodles and oodles of moneys in exchange for just a few pieces of information about your bank accounts. They happen all the time. I usually get several each day.

Today I received one in the mail. Through the POSTAL SERVICE, and from a Canadian address - with real postage!!!!

Masquerading as the owner of a real law firm in Ontario.

That's a first for me.

Chart Position, after only 1 week in release!

Sure, it's arbitrary and it won't last, but I'll still take it.

As promised, here is the blog version of Radio Free California Episode 2438. This post includes notes about programming on my radio station for the week (including links), cheap shots at the news stories of the day, and a video you might like. Enjoy!

@Animeraider It's the same with web design, video editing, and everything else. My tribemate goes on and on about this a lot. There is no freedom in the tools and if you can't afford the tools you're stuck with limited software to create - which sometimes can be a good thing. Everything looks the same across the board with creative design.

And here it is my friends, Radio Free California Episode 2438! New music this week from Porches, The Linda Lindas, chokecherry, Thirteen Stones, Same Side, BBBL, Future Islands, Chris Reed and the Anime Raiders, Binoy, Coast Arcade, The Jesus Lizard, LL Cool J with Eminem and much more. Enjoy!

As per usual, my blog version will be up later today.

I'm not really plugged into rap/hip-hop so I nearly missed this. New music from LL Cool J with guest...

Maybe it was a concept of a shooting. Just sayin'...

Because I don't find the look attractive I have to ask, is there some sort of demographic that thinks the most attractive look on a woman is "melted Bratz doll?"

I mean, they ALL look like that, not just Ms. Loomer and Ms. Guilfoyle but ALL of them, and not one of them looked like that a few short years ago.

Am I the wierdo for finding this look repellant? (and I'd be okay with that, truth be told).

Oh, @eXey, one comment before I mute you.

Could you possibly, even slightly, be more vague?

/sarcasm

Seeing that the book that brought him fame seems to mostly be fiction it shouldn't be that big a surprise that he's still taking creative license with the truth.

In other words, making shit up.
