Today I learned that there is a tele-preacher out there with the same name as me who is spewing some pretty awful hate.

For the record: This Chris Reed supports Black Lives Matter, the freedom to marry regardless of gender, considers himself to be an ally to ALL spectrums, LGBTQIA+ and any letters I've forgotten here.

I am a LIBERAL and fucking proud of it. I believe there should be no religion in government, and no government in women's health care. I believe education should be free.

I don't do a lot of producing/remixing any more - that's more a thing I did in my 30's. but here's one I did two years ago.

Kiffie is a British Synthwave artist who is a friend of mine. The original for this is on his album "Pixelation". I simplified it, added the harmony vocals (just him re-tuned), mixed in some Clara Schuman, and lengthened it by about 15 seconds. Seriously outside my comfort zone, but fun to do.

All to raise $$ for Planned Parenthood.

There have been comparisons by my fellow Bruins between the current protests and the proests in the 1980's. When we protested, very loudly, for the divestiture of all investments by UCLA in South Africa during my day the reaction wasn't as severe as what's happening now (and I was there) there were still arrests, although not as many.

No rubber bullets and smoke grenades that I can recall.

It's about the response to the protests, and it must change.

Okay, I laughed. Congress has to get interested in governing and as of this moment they show no signs of want to do so - at least half of them anyway.

None of the arguments anyone in this thread (who isn't me) has made are incorrect. I personally think that all student loans should be forgiven, and future ones too.

But if you're going to pay the damned bill anyway, why not get your employer to match it?
