I see we've got some new folks. I think most of the obvious advice has been covered so I'll just add - chill.
This isn't a platform that encourages or rewards unnecessary drama. It takes a while to get used to that (talking from experience).
Relax, chat about stuff you genuinely enjoy. It's fun that way.

The whole #twitter thing is such a fiasco. Really hit home, seeing people like @DrEllaC talking about not seeing people again. I've followed her for years, absolute superstar, calling out bigotry and backing it up with proper research and evidence.
That bloody Dave Gilmour does it too. Like, wtf Dave. At least do some guitar gurning like it takes some effort to pull off the most amazing solos known to humankind. Dick.

Mark Knopfler is annoying af, sorry.
Like, he's playing along with a song and then he just whips out these amazing guitar solos like "yeah, whatever, just had it in my pocket, WHATEVER SUCKERZZZZ"

Hey, just having a conversation with a friend around swimming pools and I'm wondering if anyone out there can shed some light..
Years ago, I heard that it's not the chlorine in pools that makes your eyes sore, it's a because of the chemical reaction between the chlorine and people's pee that does it.
Anyone able to shed some light?

Groove Armada - Hands of Time
There's a bit I vaguely remember in the film Collateral where the song is playing in a taxi and one of the passengers (I forget who) says something along the lines of "I see you're a fan of the oldies". Which is kind;ve interesting seeing as the movie was released in 2004 and the song in 2002.
Bit of an oversight, but probably a compliment to Groove Armada for nailing that vibe

I'm now heading down the YouTube rabbithole of searching for great cover versions of songs I like.
You may not hear from me for a while.
Let me leave you with this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C16z-DBJvPU
Damn, just found out that Steve Earle has covered Angie - one of my favourite artists covering one of my favourite songs...

Absolutely love how Shane MacGowan comes across as some random passing drunk bum who wandered into a music festival and ended up getting a warm welcome 😁

Steve Earle covering his son's song, "The Saint of Lost Causes"
Great lines in it :
"You know more folks that's most afraid of the wolf
If you really stop and think
Throughout time, between a wolf and a shepherd
Who do you think has killed more sheep?"
If all the current nonsense were really about "data scraping" and whatnot, you'd still be able to search, click hashtags and use other basic functions.
He's either not paid server bills or they've broken stuff and fired the people who'd know how to fix it.
For those who may be averse to cloud-based password vaults, here is a cake-and-eat-it-too solution.
