@EllyOnTheGo One thing that's struck me as a bit weird is, it's easy to find stuff, online and off, about getting over relationships ending but relatively few about friendships which, arguably, can be just as difficult if not more so to get through.

I'm glad you've realised it's for the better, though! Onwards and upwards, hopefully πŸ™‚

Now, I'm not normally one for violence, but it's quite happily give a couple of swift slaps to whichever neighbors have been setting off fireworks for the last couple of nights.

Cat's been hiding under a gap in the kitchen worktops for two days straight.

@process heat their homes, obvs. Can't actually hear my home either unless I've left the TV on...

@ellesu @mcfate Though, on the other hand, you're always going to hear more about those who agree than those who don't, because it's still considered controversial to think like that. When it becomes normalised, that's probably more worrisome.

Took the kids I work with to an outdoor activity centre the other day. Had a go at axe throwing, amongst other things. Great fun and everyone survived πŸ™‚

@process Just in time for the We're Not Even Allowed To Call It Christmas Anymore period!

@process I think they might be surprised just how many other people also don't get to realise their dreams, some of which are far more basic like not having to worry about where their next meal is coming from or how they can afford to hear their homes..

I've mentioned recently(ish) about a friendship breaking up in a pretty bad way, had a bit of an epiphany about it today which makes it a lot easier to deal with.

The way it ended, I didn't really understand it because it didn't gel with what I knew of the other person.

Today it struck me that, if I didn't really know them (which, the more I think about it, the truer it seems), then I didn't really lose what I thought I lost.

I swear, Lidl's stuffed meatballs are like crack. Can't help but have a few every time I go near the fridge...

Ima teacher now, that’s mostly what I post about here. But once upon a time I was the director of a womens clinic that did abortions. I feel SO strongly I often dont say anything. Like I cant show up as a clinic escort locally cause Im too volatile, I can’t be what clinics need in escorts, I cant be calm.

If YOU can be calm, non violent, not escalating, your local clinic NEEDS you to show up.

States have different orgs coordinating escorts. From my clinic days: you WILL make a difference.

@ATXJane not at all. I figure anything I postis fair game for sharing - hope you manage to find the mermaid tail wording pen though!

Started watching Bad Monkey the other night. The reviews I read seemed to make out like it was some sort of crass, bad taste thing, but it's actually pretty sweet, really.

Been a rubbish month so I treated myself to a piece of jewellery.

Β£3 (delivered) mood ring from ebay. No joke, I think they look pretty cool πŸ™‚πŸ‘
