When you find a wine you really like and it's cheap then all wine you have from then on you compare to that one time you had cheap wine you loved.

I developed a love of Argentinian Malbecs which are conveniently priced to drink. And yes, I compare nearly everything to my favorites.

@Cosmichomicide mine is Canyon Oaks Red Blend. It's six bucks here per bottle. I rarely drink wine but I always compare any reds to that one.

Two Buck Chuck - always a favorite.
But I'm not picky. Most bottom shelf wines are just fine. I pick them by the artwork on the labels. If the wine were bad on my tongue, at least the label was tasty for my eyes.

@FireMonkey I'm the opposite. LOL. I see a busy label and think they are making up for something.

@grayman I haven't heard of the others but Md and Thunderbird are considered wines? I thought they were like liquor lite?
