#Gun violence is now the leading cause of death for children under 18.
Some folks I know and love have a gun or two and are very responsible with it. But their "right" to own those guns is nothing - NOTHING - compared to those children's right to live.
I don't even want to hear about creating or enforcing laws to make gun ownership safe. We've already shown we cannot or will not abide by those laws.
If you think I rant on about this too much, you may be right. But they keep dying.
For me the bad edge of the double edged sword of being up late is that I can already see ways I'll get next to nothing done tomorrow. #stressthoughts

Freight railways can be profitable giants while being relatively safe and offer a decent quality of life for its employees (things like toilets for those driving the train).
One only needs to look at CN and a Canadian Pacific. They are, depending on how itβs measured, the 3rd and 4th (or 5th) largest railways in North America (CN is larger than Norfolk S). And they are not perfect but they have far fewer accidents, better working conditions, and are profitable enough they can keep growing.
Never tell me the odds
