I wonder if there are ever psychotic breaks (or tourette's syndrome) where the person wanders around and wishes people a nice day?
@poemblaze Pretty sure that happens sometimes. 🤔
@janallmac I dunno. 🤷♂️
@poemblaze - when I worked at a grocery store as a teenager, this one gentlemen, who was rumored to have had a mental breakdown, would bring in one can he found for a deposit them say he'll or thank everybody her saw in the store.
He's go walking until he found another can and repeat the process.
Till a little getting used to but he was very nice.
@0x56 That is sweet.
@poemblaze
I'm sure some hallucinations are nice, why wouldn't some compulsions be nice too? Makes sense.
@janallmac I'm not saying I don't think it happens, I just don't have info on the topic.
@poemblaze I have Tourette's. One of my verbal tics for many years was to just randomly say/half-sing "I love you" to my wife, even if she wasn't actually physically present. Thankfully, she found it charming instead of annoying.
@stephen_a_allen That's a wonderful tic!
I remember Robin Williams once imagined a person with Tourette's Syndrome walking up and saying, "those pants look slimming." 🤣
