How are you feeling/ doing / coping?
Getting ready to see trauma ortho surgeon at 10 AM. If X-rays are solid, they will remove this cast & install hinged device for 8-12 weeks.
Forced myself to do laundry yesterday. Whew. Lots of shaky walking but made it through.
Two weeks from Wed I leave for PA. Must say, it’s pretty daunting at this point.

Does the principle of being gentle with yourself require retooling the plan?
Apparently my healing is underway much to doc’s delight. New equipment took PA & tech to get on. Trying to imagine how I will do it with one arm.

Oh that is terrific! I am so glad you can go on your trip and that your doc is okay with that - I do think you capable of sneaking out AMA but this is the much better way 😘
You know I would go regardless. Anne called Saturday expecting me to say I’m not coming. Told her I will be there if I have to crawl.
