Saudi Arabia confirms its commitment to the 'OPEC Plus' accord with Russia: state news agency
@Museek Thats going to be hard when the ships cant make it into the black sea or the arctic
@AkomoCombine
yes.
problem arises in the level of dependence across Europe on Russian oil.
Netherlands for example are 95% fossil-fuel dependent (as f 2019 data) and at least 7% of their total imported oil (bbl/month) is Russian. immediately, they have to cover that from another source. not so easy and VERY expensive. Germany's in a worse position with both Russian pipelines...
@AkomoCombine
there's no excuse for the Netherlands still being 95% dependent on fossil fuel for al it's energy production in this day & climate--same goes for a whole lot of other nations.
i LOVE the UK's Sea-based wind farm, and it's WORKING WELL! is it perfect, hell no, and it has impact and risks-but what project on that scale does not?
@naikarrah Even more of reason for democratic change in Russia.
This will motivate people to get off fossil fuels faster too.
