I'm seriously impressed with this. So easy to link multiple devices together with basically no configuration. And the configuration required to enable more advanced functionality like subnet routing or an exit node is still pretty simple and very well documented.
Ooh, and it's got an easy-breezy-beautiful community add-on for Home Assistant!

That makes adding/configuring an exit node *even easier* - and I kind of wish I'd thought to look for this before I rebuilt my VyOS virtual router to add the tailscale package last night.
