covid shot, 2nd day, after a day of no side effects.

arrrrghhh, every joint complaining, back aching to 9.

a little :420: and slow exercise, very slow very gentle, moving all the joints ๐Ÿ˜–

gradually, they lubricate and move more easily.

qigong slapping and vibration gently all over, focus on joints.

after ยฝ hour, feeling alive again, still a bit of back pain, but the bed of nails is working on it. joints tender but moveable โœŒ๐Ÿฝ

so, if that's the vax, i definitely do not want the real thing

@holon42 Your routine is key! Slow moving activity >no activity.

Good Saturday Morning!๐ŸŒปโ˜•๏ธ๐Ÿต๐Ÿซ–๐Ÿœ

@ACG2

yes, i've learned since having long covid how important getting that movement started is for feeling much better.

quite remarkable. vigorous exercise is not really necessary. slow stretches and overall movement works really well.

the key is to just startโœŒ๐Ÿฝno matter how horrible i feel initially.

@holon42 that is difficult, sorry you have that reaction. But good for you for getting protected and protecting others!๐Ÿ™

@kendonnelly

c'est la vie. it's better than the alternative and yes, protect others!

i never used to have any reaction to vaxes. since having so many with covid, etc, perhaps i'm getting sensitive. and i am 77, so there's that ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜Ž

@holon42 I know someone who has such an awful reaction to her first that she had to be hospitalized so she could be observed for her second. But she still got the second shot!

@kendonnelly

yikes, that's radical. i'm glad she braved another. how was the second one?

@kendonnelly

oh good. perhaps she's adjusting.

i had a panic attack as a result of my first high dose flu shot last fall. weird.

just breathed through my immune system's punching the vagus nerve button. lasted about 5 minutes.

again, a surprise. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

@holon42 I always say, 1-2 days of ick beats 7 days of sick! ๐Ÿ‘

@AverageCitizen

no question โ€ผ๏ธand 7 is on the short end. i had covid in 2019 and it ran for over a month๐Ÿ˜ต

@AverageCitizen

no vaccines then and no one knew it was here yet. sneaky virus๐Ÿ˜ก

@holon42 Sadly, I got covid last year for the first time just a month after my booster. Took me 3 weeks. @AverageCitizen

@LiberalLibrarian

it's definitely something to avoid if at all possible ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป

@holon42 @LiberalLibrarian for sure! My time with Covid lasted 10 days. My kids shook it off faster. I do actually have one that is still a โ€œno-vidโ€, hasnโ€™t gotten it yet.
