Musk thinks firing Federal workers will balance the budget. The current budget is about $2 trillion dollars. There are a little over 2 million workers. Musk has never done the math: there is not ONE FED WORKER who makes $952,381 / year.
The boy does to many drugs.
It’s called basic math. Take one number and divide by another.
He’s gaslighting everyone.
As is this article: Musk was talking about headcount. Trump can NEVER affect program spending by fiat.

It shouldn't be a surprise. They've been the party of the evangelicals and other hyper-religious types for a long time.
@feloneouscat
^^ Yup. Same. But here we are. 😟
#Musk isn't a businessman. He's a grifter. He doesn't balance books; he does publicity stunts and gets people to pay him for them. The biggest difference between him and Elizabeth Holmes is that he's had more practice cozening people, and he gets them to invest in him in such a big way that they're embarrassed to admit they've been cheated.
@feloneouscat This has nothing to do with "the budget" and everything to do with hamstringing the Fed so hard it will be unable to stop the avalanche of grifting/cutting of programs most Americans need to simply exist at this point. Which won't take much as the GOP has already done a pretty good job of cutting the Fed's Achilles anyway.
@feloneouscat Musk is an idiot who falls upward because he has no self-awareness, and capitalism rewards people who can convince others due to lacking self-doubts.
Program spending is a Congressional thing and NO CONGRESSPERSON is going to kill programs in their state.
None.
Fuck the other states, but they are smart enough to realize if you cut spending in Vermont, they’ll cut spending in Oklahoma.
As bad as Republicans are, and yes, they are really, really bad—after all they are the party of pedophiles and criminals—the last thing they want is to be the party that throws constituents out of work.
Maybe.
