Oh, that’s fantastic, and I am a tiny bit jealous. 😁 Clapton is god. I have bucket loads of Clapton music and never get tired of listening to his brilliance.

Prince is jaw dropping in this version, no doubt, and I can’t watch this video without wondering where on earth his guitar landed after he tossed it in the air.

That said, Clapton’s guitar work was so poignant it grabbed me and didn’t let go.

This is my second favorite version.

If I didn’t read the books or listen to the music of artists whose opinions I didn’t like, my life would be poorer. I had a good friend who was an artist who once said, “listen to the art, not the artist” and that principal has helped me throughout the years. 😉

Most of my favorite authors are not very nice people (Hemingway, and JK Rowling included) and if you dig into the opinions and lives of most great rock artists, the same can be said. So, while I’ll not patronize Hobby Lobby because their owners are foul, I’ll pretty much listen to any musician or read any author regardless of my dislike for them personally. 🤷‍♀️
