I wonder if it is even possible to get along without a credit card. Even if you always paid the balance every month.

I understand your reasoning. I am wondering if you travel how do you carry enough cash to get around.
I subscribe to using a credit card never carrying a balance and have a card that pays me to use it.
@disk4mat I just travel in my car. I'm TOO scared to fly. So far I'm doing just fine with a debit card & cash in my life, lol

@elaineylacy2 that's been my policy for many years. I do have a credit card for services that require it (Netflix for example) but it is paid in full each month. Otherwise debit card or I don't buy.
