So a couple days ago I got a phone call from my friend whose husband was given a week or less to live... I'm sad to say that he passed away today 😢

@duglop Oh, that’s too bad! Best thing you can do is tell them you’re there if they need anything at all, and then give them space. Even occasional unannounced check-ins can be bad when you’re grieving. *safe hugs*

Thank you all, it puts things in perspective when it happens like this! When mom died from cancer, they had basically just claimed she was cancer free then it happened.. my friend's hubby never had a chance...
