well it SHOULD'VE been Congress, but they abdicated that responsibility because the GOP is a fucking cult. barring that, it should be the judicial system, same as any other J6 defendant, but nobody has the balls to charge, try & convict Trump of insurrection even though they've convicted the rest of the J6 organizers of insurrection.

first of all, one state barring Trump from the ballot doesn't give that state control over the entire election. Trump's not going to win Colorado even if he IS on the ballot.
but individual states decide elections all the time. Trump was only president in the first place because of Michigan. if you don't want "one state deciding an election" then abolish the fucking electoral college already and do this shit on a national popular vote.

@Klaatu_Veratta_Nectarine fwiw I consider Michigan the deciding vote because (a) they have more electoral votes than Wisconsin [16-10] and (b) their margin was the closest, with Trump winning by just over 10,000 votes [he won Wisconsin by 22k and Pennsylvania by 44k]
