NASA's record isn't great re: deaths of astronauts.
Pretty much any activity where adults in the prime of life wear diapers is tremendously dangerous:

TBF 19 since the 60’s is far better than Tesla (a total of 95). But let’s be fair and give Tesla a 1/4. That is still 23 since 2003. That’s about one a year. NASA is about 0.28 a year.
So if I’m going to the moon, I would feel much safer in NASA’s hands than Musk’s.
But that’s just me.
