One of the enduring sorrows of the Age of Trump is the bittersweet relief that our elder loved ones are beyond the reach of his influence. Brave, decent folks like my father who conducted top secret communications research for the Navy and my father-in-law (whose grave is pictured) who served in the Navy in the Pacific in WWII would be horrified to see Americans embracing a wannabe dictator carrying out Russia’s bidding. I miss you, Dad and Pop, but you’re better off where you are. #Politics
@allin @cassandra17lina I’m glad as well but for a different reason. I fear my dad would have adored Trump and our relationship was difficult enough without that.

My fear is just the opposite.
My dad fought the Nazis hand to hand in Battle of the Bulge. After a lifetime of PTSD, he would hunted him down with disastrous results.
@LnzyHou @allin @cassandra17lina My dad was an illiterate racist, which describes the majority of Rumpy’s fan base.
@cjcrew @allin @cassandra17lina Even though he had severe dementia, Dad realized Trump was an obnoxious clown.
