The #January6thInsurrection was when the brave DC Metro Police were beat trying to save the Capitol with the Cap Police. They could have sat on the sidelines like Jeff Bezos.

I used to read the Washington Post obsessively, it was my home town newspaper. I was proud that it coverd the Watergate scandal, & the messy conclusion to the even messier Vietnam War. They had a great editorial section.
No longer. In this age of Trump & gaslighting, WaPo stands for nothing & is a complete waste of time. I'd rather read the City Paper, but I rarely get out there.
