For about 15 minutes here I had that #Autistic fear because I didn't understand if someone was being sarcastic or genuine.
It's an absolutely awful sensation.
Shame flares over potentially having screwed up.
Your ears get hot.
Your stomach lurches.
Naturally you fucked up AGAIN.
Well. I'm not doing this anymore.
So I'm going to keep to a narrow number of people from now on.
I'm 52 goddamn years old. It never goes away.
You're in that number.
@Shelter I'll try to be worthy of it and if I fuck it up for pete's sake let me know and I will adjust my sash
You're wonderful.
@Shelter 😳 😊
Going through my list of followers and unfollowing myself for people.
@Shelter 🤗
It sure doesn't go away.
Neuro-spicy is spicy forever, and we congregate into packs because of it. ❤️
When do we feast?
@Shelter 🤔 I'm not sure, but it will be auspicious
@Shelter I'm opposed to sarcasm for many reasons including this.
I had to grow an ability to throw sarcasm to survive in my extended family, and I still consider that shitty.
As everyone died I didn't have to do that anymore.
I miss my family, but I don't miss having to be on guard with a reply.
@Shelter my one take on being a "man" is that he says what he means, so there's no misunderstanding.
Some brag about speaking "fluent sarcasm". 🙄
@Shelter Don't go changin to try to please me...
It occurred to me that I might have been dismissed due to using one of my preferred profile pics from years ago and I might have been mistaken for mansplaining, so I just pulled up a pic with chick hair.
@Shelter It's a very nice picture, too.
It's awkward AF because I hate trying to selfie, but thank you.
That was kind.
@Shelter 🤗
