Hi there Coso! Most of you don't know me, but I'm @BillyBones's wife, Sharon. I don't get to play here as often as I'd like and had every intention of changing that this year until my accident.
But that's the reason for my post. The injury has left me reeling and since I'm left-handed I can barely type now. But I've been overwhelmed by the love and support shown to both of us here by people who only know me by proxy, so I wanted to say how touched I am by your kind messages & good wishes.

Honestly I've had more support here from people who don't really know me than just about anywhere else, including some of my own family. I can see why Billy spends so much time here and talks about all of you endlessly. He's also read back every single message from you, and it's made me feel so good even while I've been in tears here.
So here's the latest. It looks like I'm going to have an op to rebuild my shoulder Thursday or Friday this week & should know tomorrow. They'll either try to piece it together or if not will try to rebuild it 'in reverse'). I'm so scared but wanted everyone here to know that your thoughts & messages will be getting carried into the OR with me to keep me going

@CherNohio Thanks Cher ๐ We've been worried about the length of time too, her arm is in a terrible state with bruising all the way down, not to mention whatever is happening inside. That's why we were so upset last week and couldn't believe getting turned away. It's the last time we try that particular hospital system for anything.

@ShazzaRazza @th3j35t3r Modern medicine has made great strides in recent years. I have survived two cancers for over 10 years. I had a prostatectomy and walked in the hospital one day and walked out the next. My wife had her hips replaced and was walking the next day after each surgery.

When my hubby had his shoulder surgery, he used a cold/ice therapy machine thing and he said that really helped him. (It was a rental from the doctor office)
