@S_r_stone That place always seemed a bit boring to me. Elves are a bit aloof. I bet they don't even have decent WiFi there.

You don't need WiFi when Elrond lets you use his palantir.
My perception may be influenced by visions of Liv Tyler both catering and defending me.
I visited the place in New Zealand* where all the Rivendell scenes took place. It was pretty cool even without elvish decor.
*Over half of the places we went were somehow tied to Lord of the Rings.
