Question of the Day: What fictional place would you most like to go to?

@GaryPoole

Narnia to talk to the animals. I have a lot of questions.

@GaryPoole Pern so I can actually own and ride a dragon!!!! 🐲

@GaryPoole

The fictional village Lansquenet-sous-Tannes in the movie Chocolat because there was magic and chocolate. 🍫

@ellesu @GaryPoole Well then, Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory should be first on your itinerary, shouldn't it?

@GaryPoole
Hawkins, Indiana (short visit though, I’m no fool 😁)

@Anouk @GaryPoole You are still a lunatic for wanting a short visit. You could get sucked into the upside-down and never be able to return.

@GaryPoole There is only one correct answer, Rivendell.

@S_r_stone That place always seemed a bit boring to me. Elves are a bit aloof. I bet they don't even have decent WiFi there.

@GaryPoole Heresy.

You don't need WiFi when Elrond lets you use his palantir.

My perception may be influenced by visions of Liv Tyler both catering and defending me.

I visited the place in New Zealand* where all the Rivendell scenes took place. It was pretty cool even without elvish decor.

*Over half of the places we went were somehow tied to Lord of the Rings.
