And he lost by almost 10 points in a state Rs expected to win. Almost as if these crazed lies don't have appeal beyond the cult.
@RationalLeft @McMarkerson: True. Many in what I'll call The Middle (of the Left or the Right) really don't want to elect silly cartoon characters. People will accept a certain amount of wackiness or whatever, but everyone has a tolerance limit.
@thedisasterautist @McMarkerson Rs blew the midterms partly because a lot of conservative Indies and about 15% of registered Rs wouldn't vote for the Big Lie nominees.

@RationalLeft @McMarkerson: Many, including my mother and more than a few of her friends, learned the hard way that voting for one group out of fear of another group will get you played like a fiddle by people you'd never buy a car or tv from or lend money.
