I got a good question for the community here. Is it bad that I want to get some make up to look fucking amazing for a day or three out of every month? I've been seeing some amazing looks floating about in the androgynous community and I'm kinda trying to still feel out what's right for me.

@PaganMother
The only reason not to would be if it put you at risk from some bigot close to you. Otherwise, go for it and have fun. Life's too short not to.

@Jeber yeah I barely ever leave home so bigotry exposure is pretty low so there's a plus to living rural as androgynous or even trans. 🥰

@PaganMother
As an ally, I'm going to encourage you to try whatever it is you want to try. Your body is your own. Your life is your own. Find what brings you joy in your own life.

@PaganMother Is it bad? Not at all! Even with the small amount I wear now, it's very validating for me. Go for it! Experiment away and have fun with it.

@AngryCanadianGamer I'd always been shy of make up, either cause of worrying about my partners approval or just not being comfortable with make up in general but I'm starting to rethink on that, ya know?

@PaganMother I know all too well about seeking approval from those closest to you. And while I understand being cognizant of others, ultimately it is your happiness and peace of mind that should matter the most.

Just like with other issues facing us, if you're not hurting anyone else, NO-ONE should tell you what do with your own body, and that definitely includes how you wish to look and present.

@PaganMother I think if it makes you feel a way you like to you should. If it brings you happiness, do it.
