Hey #cosonauts, What can you admit you're are a snob about?
@MotherDucker Beer (Guinness) and coffee (French Roast). For two....
@FinnegansWhacked I tried so hard to find a beer I liked as much as Guinness, because that's what every punk and goth I knew drank, and I felt like a stereotype or a sheep or something, but it turns out that was just because it's good beer and my friends are cool.
@tippitiwichet I started to be a Guinness drinker when I had my first black and tan in Dublin. Up until then, I drank Harp, Bass Ale, Sam Adams, etc. It's been my favorite since and it never disappoints.
Outdoor, clothing and camping gear.
I buy only the best, and demand that they last and preform better than expected.
@MotherDucker my record collection. If I don't love it, it's not getting in. And I think my taste in music is the best, naturally... 🤣
@MotherDucker TV image quality, beer, coffee
@MotherDucker Yarn. I can't knit with cheap acrylic, it's like nails on chalkboard. I had to get a wheel to bring the cost of my yarn down.
I'll use acrylic for crochet amigurumi, but I'm definitely becoming a snob for any other application.
@Agatha @MotherDucker That is an acceptable use, as is dishcloths.
@MotherDucker Cycling clothes.
Embroidery floss, embroidery fabric, and embroidery beads. By all means people should use what they want to use and what they can afford. I'm not going to judge anyone. I use high quality cotton floss most of the time, but DAMN that silk has got me 🤤.
I'm a pickle snob. Claussen kosher dill spears are the only acceptable pickles. If they were gone or went out of business, I would literally never eat another pickle again.
