One of the reasons why Kansas, Missouri, and Idaho are suing the FDA's expanded approval of mifepristone?
It provides teen girls access to abortion, which in turn causes...
Quote from 3rd ss:
"diminishment of political representation" and "loss of federal funds," such as potentially "losing a seat in Congress or qualifying for less federal funding if their populations are" reduced or their increase diminished.
From what I am reading from that case. They want it to be legal to rape teenagers and force them to bring the baby to term
back in the 80s, teen pregnancy was a concern because kids were dropping out of school.
now over 30 years they want to encourage it again
disgusting people
@Kinnison @ExecutiveFunction404 When you think about it, forcibly impregnating children has been a Republican mantra for a while now. The number of MAGA charged with sexual crimes against children has skyrocketed and we have sitting members of our senate credibly accused of sex trafficking children. It is depraved and monstrous. The worst part of it is that these arguments are being presented as good faith arguments and as valid positions to take.
@Kinnison @ExecutiveFunction404 Not only are we considering debating these things, but the people who are trying to present these as reasonable viewpoints are the people who proclaim moral superiority and divine authority to make the rest of us bend to their will. It is hard to call us civilized at this point. It is even harder to take their religion arguments seriously.
@sirgeefive @ExecutiveFunction404
the whole Christian Nationalist movement already figured they are going to heaven, so they do not think sinning to further "Christian" god's will and grow his kingdom is wrong
I call it being morally corrupt, and there is a place in hell set aside for them
Which case are you referring to? The one from the ss above?
It's about forcing the fda to reverse the expanded access to mifepristone, bc women in their states are still able to access it, which in their minds, they shouldn't be. They provide a bunch of bogus & outdated info.
I don't remember from where I downloaded it, but let me see if I can find it again. If not, I'll try the coso file sharing. I've never tried that before & I may have to hop on the computer for it.
Here's an article detailing the info (link to case in article). It's a reworking of the same case scotus threw out for lack of standing last year. So they invented standing with dubious arguments & refiled in the same TX court that banned it before (TX isn't involved in this case, can we say "judge shopping"? 🙄)
I had Comstock Act on my bingo card!
Meanwhile, as I was just reminded via the article, Kansans voted to protect abortion so...?!?!?

@Kinnison @ExecutiveFunction404 Yet these are the same people who claim atheists such as myself have no morals.
