Guess what made me go to the ER Sunday? Just now able to see again!
Ivy Dragon's angry. Lost balance in a pile of brush & poked eye. When I start back, it'll be w/a vengeance!
🤔I have to sneak past hubs first; you all can guess that he fussed & cussed & told me that IF I had left it alone, I wouldn't have cut my eye! Aargh😂
My husband is Grumpy Dragon; my Granddaughter calls him Grumpy Grampa whenever he's in a mood😁
My Blessing: I missed the new lens put in last year; the sight part!🙌
@Render 🤣I told hubs I'd forgotten to get safety glasses at the supply store, and that I knew I should have had some on that day, esp., after I'd told him I wouldn't try to do too much without some on.
He said in the future I must wear a pair. Period. He told me that he had a pair outside, under the shed, on the other side of the car, behind a tv that's outside for trash, on a shelf above it, near the wall.
🤔Me, 5 secs later: I can't reach em can I?
Him: Nope!
He did it on purpose😂

@PurpleDragon Lol; hubs knows I'm sitting here stewing now that I can see. He usually naps, but is being stubborn today; he knows if his eyes close, I will go at least rake the yard.
Sigh...I guess I will just sit tight for now. But tomorrow...he has no say!..🤔Well,...not as much say anyway🤣

@Anemone @Beanc Thank you 💖Twas the last place I wanted to go, but didn't wanna chance an infection & wasn't sure if my new lens was damaged. Have follow up next week, but was assured in ER just a deep cut nowhere near it! Lol; when Dr was ready to put in numbing drops he said "Not gonna lie, you will feel this" Usually at this point, my support person holds my hands down,(I🤛) but, hospital restrictions. So instead, I balled up my fists, brought em up(Dr freaked)🤣& tucked them underneath me
So glad the eye is ok. Scary!
